It's been six years since the battle between the covens and the Voultri. The smell of blood and the scars of fire still etched forever into the land where the great battle had been fought.
The Cullens had won 'Nessie' lived. Leaving the Voultri with no choice but to back away and leave the Cullens to their lives. While not all agreed they had no choice but to leave on Aro's command.

Six years changes everything even for vampyres, those with 'gifts' have seen their abilities grow stronger. Everything seems but a mix of vision and prophecy. There is much talk with in the heads of those gifted with 'the sight' talk of another mixed halfling among them, one like they have never seen or faced. A true abomination and mixing of the blood lines.
Seeking death and revenge upon all who cross its path the unknown faceless foe stalks the endless nights.
